February Book Discussion

Many of you participated in the recent discussions about the book Creativity Inc. by Ed Catmull.  Thank you for your participation!

If you are interested in joining the next book discussion please let me know and I will be sure to include you on the invite (probably occurring on the 27th or 28th of Feb).

We are going to be reading a book by Ryan Holiday titled, Ego is the Enemy.  It is a relatively short read filled with historical anecdotes and sage words of wisdom.

I hope you enjoy the book and join the discussion.

Ego is the Enemy

Quote that was formed in the horrors of a concentration camp:

“Between stimulus and response there is a space.  In that space is our power to choose our response.  In our response lies our growth and our freedom.”

Such a powerful concept, but it will not always be easy and there won’t always be a big space between stimulus and response.  What will you make of that space?

– Viktor Frankl
